Even if what he is saying was sort of meant as praise I’m afraid the way he said it makes him sound a lot like a 7 year old psychopath with a fetish for war.
To be fair if only it hadn’t been for those pesky bone spurs he’d have been ‘running into bullets’ with the best of them.

I can't seem to get my head around what is "beautiful" about nurses and doctors running head on into death. Let alone soldiers running into bullets.

Kennedy gets shot in the head, John Lennon gets shot, children are shot in the classroom.

When is one of these nutters going to take this **** out?

One of life's great mysteries. I thought his presidency would be prematurely terminated. Then again, maybe the nutters realise shooting someone who will let them play with their lethal toys only adds to the argument of disarming them.

Yep lazy. My missus worked through the Easter Holidays, is working through the next one and teaches key stage 1 kids, who are expected back in a fortnight. These key stage 1 kids who see licking each other as a form of communication. Cant wait for her to eventually get Covid and pass it on to my 5 year old daughter who has asthma and certainly won't be returning to school in a fortnight.

Has locking us up made virus worse?
It remains true that deaths from Covid-19 peaked in this country on April 8, well before the shutdown could have taken effect.

Now here’s another key fact, little mentioned in this country, which undermines the weird faith that the Government’s destructive measures have saved lives or relieved pressure on the NHS.

New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo has revealed that his own shutdown doesn’t seem to be working. In a survey of recent cases hospitalised in the state for Covid-19, 66 per cent were people who had stayed at home as instructed.

The evidence suggests that it spreads much more readily inside buildings than outside. So forcing people to stay at home probably actually increased infections [File photo]
‘This is a surprise,’ said the Governor. Not to me, it wasn’t. But at least he did the survey and publicised it, which is more than anyone in the UK has done. ‘Overwhelmingly, the people were at home,’ Mr Cuomo added.

‘We thought maybe they were taking public transportation, and we’ve taken special precautions on public transportation, but actually no, because these people were literally at home.’ So much for mass house arrest. It didn’t just not work. It made it worse.

But there’s now evidence that the virus had already done most of its spreading long before anyone had even thought of acting.

Coronavirus in many cases has few symptoms, sometimes none. The evidence suggests that it spreads much more readily inside buildings than outside. So forcing people to stay at home probably actually increased infections.

Yes they do. They openly sneeze without covering their mouths, they have their hands down their trousers, and when you have 40 five year olds in a confined space there is all sorts of **** flying around, and she is at a good school. Those are just some of the cleaner examples.
As for debating the rest I've had a few beers so I'll leave it at that.
    Cheers.

So when do you think we should open schools again? November? September next year?

When it is safe. High schools are not expected to open until September, as things stand I think that's a reasonable call.

I'm not sure of the logic behind this claim. Before lockdown most people were mixing with family members living within the same house so lockdown doesn't change the risk of transmission within the household. However, the separation and relative isolation that lockdown imposes does limit the transmission between households, especially if no member of the household is considered to be an essential worker.

To be fair Den, Parliament is a building that was never intended to have as many people in it as it is expected to, where the handwashing facilities are wholly inadequate for the number of users, where the cleaning staff cannot keep up with the level of surface cleansing necessary and where the people attending it have been shown to be, quite frankly, incapable of social distancing and following hygiene requirements due to their own inadequacies.

    Whereas in schools...

    Oh, wait.

When it's absolutely 100% safe and no kid can catch anything bad, so that will be never then.
