As I said, even if such decisions are made during regular practise it is a graduated response. People don't just kick you out or write you off because of age. It's a more robust and very personalised stepped process. Had they applied the same robust approach to the crisis then we wouldn't have had thousands of elderly being turfed out just because. I think we're at the point that you've got to do what you think is right. It's been left in our own hands.

There will be knuckle heads who just don't get it of course but if you feel the need to go out and get some exercise then do it. At the same time, make your own judgement on whether it's too busy and you don't want to be there.

Anyone thinks it's too risky, stay in. That's your choice. Do what you feel is right for you and yours.

Just don't tell people who want to make a living and feel they have to work that they can't.

Same thing in reverse, if you need to work, don't tell those who are still worried and wary that they have to.
