Started with a guy dragging a drowned little girl out of a canal, her doll washed up so he hung it on a tree as a memorial. Since then thousands of them have appeared and the place is now deserted and spooky.

 

I watched a bunch of guys visit the place, its now the home of and maintained by the original doll guys brother.

Sorry mate but that's just tenuous bollox. You can apply that in general circumstances and even then under strict circumstances and controls. Not as a carte blanche approach to a major pandemic which ppl seemed to think was ok. No surpise then with that mentality professionals so easily moved from strict controls to a blanket approach when we had to deal with the elderly against the coronavirus.

The Arctic is the warmest it's been since reliable records began in 1958, the skies over the Arctic are also the clearest they've been on record due to the drop in manmade aerosols and aircraft contrails that seed clouds. With no cloud to protect the ice at this time of year it's causing mayhem and we are looking at this year being one of the lowest on record. If all this melt affects the AMOC then we are looking at a very hot summer and a very cold winter.

If a national standard was issued as opposed to guidance you’d be right as then it has to be followed. When it’s guidance the responsibility to make the decision is still local.
