Is this like a Loaded style politicians world cup?

    My answer is Gordon Brown.

Met him while having a piss at a urinal at Old Trafford. Had an awkward 'alright?' type conversation.

    He was engaging!

Pretty sure discharge is a clinical decision and would be made locally so would presume you can’t blame the government or NHS England but local trust and individual doctors take responsibility.

general principles are laid down by NHE England and in this case of Covid 19 they issued guidance to all trusts which being a new issue they almost certainly followed .

I did read about Irish invading and settling in Scotland and vice versa.

Talking about settling.......i know about the black people taken as slaves by various countries......i wonder what happened to the 500,000 British men, women and children sent from prisons to America to serve out their sentences as slaves/servants? I bet none returned!

The National message was to free up beds and discharge as many as possible. The advice on not testing came from the DoH. So no.

Sadly as much has it pains me, I have a belief that our elderly were purposely left to die in care homes. It's a wild accusation to make, but in decades to come, the truth will be revealed, probably long after I'm gone.

So why do I say this. The UK had several weeks to see the situation in Italy, and during our denials, we were able to watch how their hospitals became overwhelmed, they didn't even have room for the dead, and the army had to be called in.

There was a mentality around at the time, that the elderly would give up ventilators for the young, some of it echoed on here. I believe, someone, somewhere made a decision. Like I say, wild accusation, one I can't prove, but something don't ring true about how the care homes were handled, especially with plenty of prior warning that it would take the elderly out in this country as easy as knocking over dominoes.

However, the actions of the government, which was panic at the eleventh hour, left us with thousands of surplus beds, but the problem was, the infection in care homes, had already hit their homes, by then, it was already too late.

I think my accusations are no more wild, than the one's i've read on here, regarding doctors.

It’s not a wild accusation mate. They weren’t accepting care home patients into the hospital facilities, including the Nightingale.

I'm allowed to be wrong. It's called trust. Much like I never believed in the virus at first, simply because I could never believe we would leave borders open in such a situation. It wasn't until a friend showed me something from Italy, that I never ever posted on here, I then thought....fooking shhite, we've got a problem. I admitted I had been wrong, I'm but a mere individual, not someone paid huge sums of money to keep the citizens of this country safe.

My Kosovan friends told me people in their country are only allowed out at certain times according to their passes. Heavily fined if caught out at irregular times!!!!

My lad lives in Dubai, and they had exactly the same for a spell, their lockdown was a genuine lockdown, started before ours and lasted longer. They’ve had about 200 deaths in total I think, and their daily infection rate has never gone beyond about 700. Compare and contrast.........
