    Just read that.
If the EFL approve this request for no relegation from League 2, they are setting a very dangerous precedent that could have ramifications.
It would also undermine Rick Parry's stance to the Premier League.

Leeds have had a bid accepted by Linfield for Irish sensation Charlie Allen.

The club have agreed a fee of around £300,000 for the striker.

A number of top clubs were after the 16yo's signature.

Leeds had to move quickly to outmaneuvering Spurs who believed the Northern Ireland School boy was on his way to North London.

Linfield are managed by former White David Healy

In effect Bury have gone down, when they went bust, there is no issue, as one still comes up.

Sorry to put a damper on this Elland but a hell of a long time since we’ve produced a sensation, north or south of the border. Who comes up with these descriptions. He’ll be a legend next

Excellent, he's highly rated - the presence and prominence of Stuart Dallas probably had an influence too.

Agreed, didn't we sign another young Norn striker who was going to be a sensation a few seasons ago? He did nothing in the u23s. Now gone.

Yeah I’ve nothing against signing young lads. But I’d prefer to see the media describe them as promising. Otherwise it surely heaps ridiculous pressure on a 16 or 17 year old kid

Did promoting English players into the National teams wreck the production line ?

But all dating back thirty years odd since they were young lads. The league of Ireland is hopeless at present. Mostly about league two standard. Not much rich pickings to be picked up anymore sadly it seems and certainly promising at best

Dead right. He's surprisingly worth listening to, off-field.
