hmmm well I just think it's a funny one if it happens because of his record inn the premier league. I suppose he's still an improvement on Bruce... What kind of football does he play? I can't really remember much , but him looking crippled in post march interviews

I know this may be an odd concept to some in the UK but people can learn from their mistakes and improve.

It's like in teaching, when you pass the training course doesn't mean you are the perfect teacher ( unless you are @haslam ). I've been in teaching almost 14 years now and I make mistakes every day. What works in one seeing does not mean it'll work in another setting.

I just read up on the situation - 2+2=6 might actually be the case! Here's why - Zubizaretta was apparently told mid-way through last season that OM were going to hire a GENERAL Sporting Director, above him (wtf is that?!), which really pissed him off. Then around March time OM were found guilty of breaching FFP regulations and now have a huge problem in clawing back the money they need, as they're significantly in the red. AVB himself has maintained his future is tied to Zubizaretta and head scout (Valentin), but has also said if he couldn't spend money in the UCL, he'd leave. So there's a storm of crap over OM that may, in fact, be entirely coincidental to the situation at Newcastle!!! Raises questions about Garry Cook, allowing OM to get into such bother, even if Aulas (the president) is a bit of a clown.

AVB himself is an interesting one; fantastic with Porto, poor with Chelsea, awful with Spurs, very good with Zenit, excellent with OM. But it may all be moot.

It's not hard to understand, but I would still look for a teacher that hasn't failed twice in my school.. I'll be happy anyway, but I just think it's a strange one ... if even the case of course

Ha ha. A 47.5% win rate at Chelsea and a 55% win rate at Spuds. Hardly " didn't do well"

AVB was unpopular because of the style of play. Not results.

I doubt it .. that's why he got sacked twice.
his second season he got sacked because they were doing ****. nobody gets sacked for doing well.
