Nope, and no tea and biscuits supplied either, just a swab to stick up my nose and then you arrange for their courier to pick it up.

Do they tell you how far to stick it up? What happens if it comes out with a big bogey on the end?

Obviously a very positive step. Let's hope we have the laboratory capacity to perform the tests. This must be a concern because we don't have the labs to turn round the current antigen tests on a timely fashion.

From the article, it reads that someone from the civil service allocated the contract to the company. Whether this was under political pressure or just plain incompetence is not clear. What is surprising that once a contrqct is given, there are no procedural checks to confirm that all is working within the remits of the contract. I work as a contractor in construction related to oil and gas industry and our work is continually checked and graded for safety and quality. Why not in the public/private sector. It seems like it's being run from Whitehall by many who haven't got enough experience of how the private sector functions.

Well, it was rather impolite and cowardly to insult me from behind a keyboard. I wasn't aware of you before.

You and I have never had a conversation or interaction prior. Perhaps, if you've got worries at home, you should focus positivity and energy on this, rather than randomly insulting me on here. Your anger and time is better spent.

I think you should look at the nature of the posts on this forum.
It’s a football forum and I would liken it to sitting in a pub with other football supporters.
It is a greater insult to be ignored on here than to be called a ****.
I posted in response to your post saying that you are unpopular. The fact is that if you were unpopular posters would ignore you not argue with you points.
If you think my calling you a **** on here is insulting and cowardly, you need to grow a set and either join in the banter or **** off to LinkedIn.
There is no anger in my previous or this post. Maybe that’s something you haven’t quite grasped on here.
As for the patronising ****e about my personal life, that is ****ing pathetic.
No one gives a **** if you are a contractor to the oil industry, when comparing supply and services to government, it’s like saying that you are a baker in a discussion about computer programming.
Personally, I doubt that you are anything other than a big headed twat (by the way that’s an insult) and that is just me judging you on your posts. Face to face, just for reference, I would probably call you a ****, at some point I call most of the blokes I drink with ****s and you can take that whichever way you want.
    Stop being ****
