Agreed. He's going to have one hell of a point to prove. So just to go down the 2+2=6 route, we have Saudi's looking to acquire Newcastle and Marseille. Newcastle's would-be buyers have inferred to respected journos that they'd be looking at a restructure, Sporting Director, new coach, big project route. Since the Saudi interest, Marseille have had resignations from CEO-type, Sporting Director and now Head Coach. All of whom were involved in Marseille's impressive resurgence to 2nd and CL football last season, on a shoestring.
No, it can't. The Saudi's will have seen the Marseille plans and presumably talked to at the very least Garry Cook, probably the other two as well. Where else are ALL THREE going to go? Which other club in a top flight has that many vacancies?
