To late St Lui gung ho hand shaking spaffer Johnson and his crooked cronies are already responsible for the unnecessary suffering and death of many. There will be a reckoning at some point. In the meantime ongoing government polices need scrutiny and criticism, not just CV, there's the B word fiasco also a road to ruin.

Bombshell? The majority knew perfectly well this was the case. Northern Ireland sold down the river, unification becomes more of a possibility albeit a slim one.

I used the word ironically. Everyone who bothered to look behind the Spaffer’s blustering bullshit knew there would have to be checks. As usual, he and the rest of the Brexiter loonies lied in their teeth.

It’s the clever way they use the media to get their lies into the public domain, and the lack of media coverage when the lies are finally admitted, that makes the Tory party so dangerous.
I have always been of the belief that a lie, reported by the written media for example, covering the front page and several others inside, should be retracted over the same number of pages, in the same size font, for as many days as the lie was perpetuated. Currently an apology is hidden, somewhere in the paper, and rarely in a prominent enough position to get widely read.
Likewise with tv and radio. If Laura Kuensberg, for example, spends 5 minutes reporting a falsehood as being true, at 6.40 on the news, then she should spend 5 minutes telling everyone that she was reporting a lie, at 6.40 on the news as soon as the lie has been confirmed. It doesn’t matter if she was deceived, as she has a responsibility to report the truth.

I don’t have access to the full resport, as it’s behind a paywall, but this bit I copied is excellent, especially as it comes from the Torygraph.

It’s always the toughest stage of The Apprentice: the interviews round. A slick-haired young telemarketer in a shiny suit will swagger in, and start bragging about the foolproof business idea he’s had – only for the interviewer to take him apart like a Duplo train set.

In no time, the candidate has dissolved into a puddle of babbling neurosis, unable to give a convincing answer to any question, up to and including the spelling of his own name.

This is what it’s like, these days, watching Sir Keir Starmer grill Boris Johnson at PMQs. Labour’s new leader is calm, polite, and utterly merciless.

The number of critical articles in the telegraph and mail are on the increase. Not a trend I expect to continue when elections come round .

I entirely agree, but the lie about Boris’s Grand Spectacular Irish Border Deal would have to have blanket coverage in all media outlets 24/7 for at least 2 months to even begin to redress the balance.

Hopefully the damage to Boris' reputation will have been done by then. Although I'd be surprised if he led the Tories into the next election tbh.

Just wait until Spaffer Johnson has the bullying, baying Tory masses behind him again at PMQT shouting down Keir's questions and comments. Keir will have to shout over the rabble to get himself heard and his calm dignity will be gone.

Time that was stopped. Time a rule was introduced that only the person nominated by the speaker can talk.
Treat the benches like they would an unruly football crowd. Close down the troublesome section and tell the offenders to report to their local police station at the times that the house is in session. And by local police station I mean the one in the constituency that they represent.
Show them that we are all in it together.

This is probably why Jacob Rees-Smug wants parliament to return. It's got f*ck-all to do with showing everyone that parliament isn't afraid to minimise Social Distancing, the Tories have realised that in a mano-a-mano, one-on-one debate, Boris is not waving, but drowning, and everyone, in the chamber, and around the world, can hear and see that Keir Starmer is far more knowledgeable about the real world, and can tie 'Thud and Blunder' Johnson in intricate knots.

Alternatively, we could have Mark Steel as Boris’s replacement. No one could tell the difference!

Even the tory press is rounding on Johnson, I'd rather he stayed on. Eventually he'll be caught out with his continuing lies and deceit such that his current approval rating will drop through the floor. Watching PMQs a delight as Johnson squirms, the telegraph, of all sources, description posted by St Badge right on the button " the candidate has dissolved into a puddle of babbling neurosis"

From https://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-politics you never see a poor bookmaker. Heartening to see Keir Starmer as the favourite.

At a time when the government are urging workers to stay off of public transport, the congestion zone charge, in London, is to be raised by 30%.
    Must be a coincidence, surely?
