Indeed, but at least the hospitals didn’t get overrun, as we sent them all away, to die, after spreading it.

The one thing I'm not understanding in all this, why are masks are not being made compulsory?

I've heard them dismissed by being guided by the science, numerous times in the UK, but you only need one asymptomatic person, to infect everyone at work.

Regardless of the two metre rule, particurlary people that work in call centres, because everyone has to communicate at some point, for a longer than would be preferred period during the day. It's what we do as humans, communicate. I'll avoid any Elon Musks jokes, although I'm sure there is one in here somewhere.

We appear to be the only country that has not taken these masks seriously, through being guided by the science, yet we have the worst death rate in Europe. Afterall we all know how long it took us to close down the economy, well after the horse had bolted.

The simple fact is, the economy is not going to recover, no matter what we do now. Maybe print money, do whatever they have to do, debt only exists if we as humans allow it to. Because there will be a second wave coming, and when it does, I'm going to ask the same question again, why are we not wearing masks.

as far as i can see it's because they worry people will purchase medical grade ones so causing a bigger PPE problem in the NHS / Care sector .

Excellent mate. One other question, how many washes can it withstand?

If they mandate them for the entire populous, then demand for medical grade masks will outstrip supply and it’ll result in workplaces not being able to operate. So they’re skirting the issue and leaving it to ‘common sense’ again.

Tel said 3 and so does the website , but you don't have to wash it every time you use it .

Actually can be washed more often .

    From the official website .

To maximise the active lifetime of your Virustatic Shield hand rinse with no detergent.

You can wash your Shield as frequently as you want, but the coating has been tested and found to be fully effective for at least three washes.

The product is hand wash only.

High heat (100˚c and over) will damage the coating, the Virustatic Shield is best left to air dry so do not tumble dry or leave to dry on a radiator, or iron.

Hmm, problem here is the virus don't respect common sense...how many call centres we got left in the UK, I wonder if the science will do charts on how long it takes to take out a whole team. They could call it the ten pin bowling chart.
