Just walked past the garden centre at Ally Pally, and had a chat with the guy standing outside directing cars. He reckoned people were queuing up 2 hours before they opened.

Just down the hill, in the public car park, was another queue of cars - for Coronavirus testing. A mobile test centre just appeared there this morning. I gave that one a wide berth.

 

I need all sorts like about 100 stakes, different soils, nutrients, nets, a wheelbarrow and a few new plants. It’s so much easier to go and get them, they’re cheaper and I’ve had two deliveries online that haven’t turned up since the lockdown started.

 

Who in their right mind feels the need to queue for 2 hours to access a garden centre?

 

My coco turned up with 60 pound delivery charge came from Spain bout a month ago

 

60 quid delivery. **** that. I ordered a load of peat moss from Ireland which never showed up. Crafty ****ers.

 

They run into a bit of bother with the old bill on route with the delivery...

Unfortunately some people are so lacking in common sense that they need directives .
We dont here the washing your hands now like we did weeks ago and you can bet your bottom Euro€ that a lot of people have stopped or just forgot .

 

I’ll get that pot plant if it ****ing kills me.

Well those 4 beers and about 10 lemon gins I had last night ain't sitting well this morning

 

You worry too much, it's perfectly ok to catch the virus now, we have thousands of empty hospital beds. Probably a good time to go into manufactoring large cardboard boxes, in preperation for the second wave.

 

Good point I’ll tell my nan to start going to M&S again.
