  1. Other people said i was wrong when i said a few months ago, that Tiote was a creative player. He only got 1 assist last season, but he still created chances, and it's not his fault is people didn't take them.

He's gotten 2 assists so far this season, both excellent deliveries into the box.

Do you believe he is creative now?

I'm not trying to be a dick here, I'm just trying to get people to recognize that it's a fact that what i say is 100% true <cool>

lol but seriously, Tiote's creative side was a bit under rated last season yes?

He's a good passer of the ball, and can whip in a quality cross <ok>

He's eaten a wilder beast or two and he seems back to his best.

Tioté didn't get as much a chance to go forward last season thanks to Nolan. With Cabaye he can be more adventurous ;) I have been impressed with the quality of his diagonal crosses though.

His deleveries have been brilliant so far, hope keeps it up but I find it worrying that our wingers especially Jonas seem to be struggling.

Yes, it was a great ball for Demba's hat trick. Good performance all round on Saturday, but I wouldn't start calling him the master of assists just yet.

Wouldn't be surprised if Jonas gets sold in Jan. We'll have Marv, Ferguson and HBA who can all play on the left. Combine that with his big wage and it looks ominous. And he's said he wants to play in Italy.

**** me Tash I must agree as he had improved his assist rate by 100% this season, that's an epic improvement.

  9. Never said he was, but we were going through Tiote's qualities, in what i remember was a Tiote vs Lucas argument in which a Liverpool fan said Lucas was far superior to Tiote <doh>

But i mentioned his qualities, and when i mentioned the word "creativity", a lot of people disagreed with me and mentioned the fact he only had one assist last season.

He once ate a full grown Alesandro Pirlo which explains the quality diagonal pass.

Well if he carries on being solid and getting a few assists the i'm happy. Hopefully Yohan scores soon though, if he scores against Wolves, i see him bagging about 6 or more this season.

Anyone know if Cabaye is our penalty taker?

You don't have the balls (according to AH anyway) to do it!!

Back on topic though - I do think he needs to have a word with our wingers on how to cross the ball cos the ones I have seen from him this season have been pretty **** hot

I agree that he can be reasonably creative but to be honest crossing the ball into the box doesn't require a massive amount of creativity

  18. His cross for Best against Villa was class, which was quality, and he had to have the vision to see Best at the far post.

I know he's not amazing creative wise, but his execution on a lot of his passes are excellent, and he has good vision.

I would have him as an all round central midfield player with exceptional defensive qualities; Cabaye being an all rounder central midfielder with exceptional creative qualities.

This is why they compliment each other as good as they do and I personally wouldn't swap these 2 for any other midfield partnership you can think of.

  20. Cabaye has excellent creative abilities, Tiote excellent defensive/holding abilities, both have the ability to be creative and defensive <ok>
