I went to Swindon and don't remember any trouble inside or out of the ground. Maybe it is short memory loss.
I was there and more than likely involved in the scuffles, one of the best games of that season. Was the wall toppling over at Oxford the same season?
I guess so but you aren't chasing after a ball. Whole point of a tackle is to look where the player and ball is ..
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...l-Premier-League-captains-reveals-divide.html What a mess eh........................
Trouble is people as in those comments will just say it's an excuse not to play etc They keep mentioning Noble and Deeney in these sorts of captains discussions as if they are the ring leaders! I am sure others are worried.
Agreed... but if one person dies as a result of this, that is one person too many..... and we have seen both how some players have not kept to quarantine... and others get the disease.... I just think they have to stop it all this season... and plan ahead for how they can start the next... Really it is the money which is a major driver here.....
Quite agree - cannot see all squad players sticking to the required guidelines if they aren't playing .
Government have given go ahead. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52665805 We'll see how it works out I guess.
Troy has had his say. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...lans/?action=success#comments-feedback-anchor
I think they won't have to be ..if they are following the German model. One on the pitch they will be allowed to play as usual which will lead to its own issues as people will think well if they can have a proper game so can we in the park I can see it now : "No one can play sport unless social distancing apart from millionaire footballers" Certain sections of the public will revolt.
The rest of the football World will revolt as well Mark - why is it so important that the Liverpool's, Man City's of this World complete their season yet the same does not apply to Taunton Town FC ? Why is it important that we have champions and Euro placings yet promotion from the Southern League to the Nationwide league doesn't matter ?
It seems there is no united front. League Two is stopping but some League One clubs and the Championship want to keep going ..
