More than I thought, a third of clubs have no confidence effectively. Hopefully it's the start of clearing the spanners out without Gers getting the W.

 

I was expecting around 40%, 33% is still, as Big C says, a third of the clubs, which is high for football.

It was never going to be passed, if accurate then a third of clubs basically showing no confidence is still a lot.

Trying to get something like this passed, you're fighting a losing battle from the start. You have Motherwell, Hamilton, Dunfermline, Ayr and Brechin all on the board so thats 5 no votes straight away. You then have Celtic, Dundee Utd, Raith and Cove Rangers all sitting top of leagues and happy with things and not wanting to risk their position, another 4 guaranteed no votes.

Of the 33 left you then need over 75% of them to vote for it just to come close to the resolution being passed, never going to happen.

It does show a level of no confidence but it shows a majority do have confidence and as such , should be the end of it .
