I'd be interested to see the actual story on that one, as I thought doctors were protected by their own governing body.

I have seen a story alleging that nurses have been prevented from speaking out, which is wrong, however, I hasten to add I've worked for employers, who follow the same procedures. You sign a social media contract and if you speak out against that employer, then you can be dismissed. It don't even have to be a data breach, it can be just speaking negative about your employer. What I'm saying here it's not unusual in any employment to see similar such actions.

The first case in England was on the 31st January btw, so what’s your point?

 

I worked for Branson for 11 years and Virgin Media were **** hot on that. I know 2 guys that were sacked for their social media behaviour and not once did they mention Virgin Media, but they had listed Virgin Media as their current employer on social media and that was enough to show them the door.

I've known people that have had to walk as well, because someone found their content, which was detriment to the business. As you say, even if you list your employer as work place, then make a seperate comment, you really don't want to go there.

You stated some statistical ‘facts’ that you didn’t back up with numbers and you took a swipe at Sturgeon for not shutting Scotland down in Feb for one case, whilst ignoring the fact the first English case was 31st Jan.
