Are there still rules? I thought you could pretty much make your own now, so long as you stay alert (and six feet apart)

The railway staff should only work if it’s safe to do so. Don’t put yourself in a position where you’ll be comprising the safe distance rule.

Would you like me to come down and hold your hand?

Like I said, I have no issue with the work. Am pleased to be able to support kids and their families as I agree about the mental health issues.

Didn't they do a remake of it?

Innocent old fashioned TV programme. The days of Mary Whitehouse.

They've got themselves in a right state trying to keep everyone 'happy'.

People want to go back to work - you're free to do so.
Some though are still very wary - you don't have to then.
Kids want to get out and go to school - ok we'll plan to open them.
If that's the case though, why can't we meet outdoors - social distancing?

I don't really get why you can meet a friend one on one but not a family member.

And, if we're now being given accountability for making sure we do the right thing, we should be able to assess for ourselves whether we think it's safe to meet parents etc. and still observe distancing.

They're giving enough ambiguity to make that decision but he tied himself in knots trying to get he point across and ****ed it up.

One question I'd like asking, I can play golf but only with a family member? My Mrs is ****ing gash at golf for **** sake.

I actually think Sunday's message was easy enough, the 'clarity' yesterday has made a mess of it.

on visiting relatives i'd have no worries about sitting in the garden with my mum as there is clearly no difference to meeting John in the park .

Wasn't this kind of expected though? That age group is the most vulnerable of all.

I need to know if this is a UK thing or each nation within the UK is responsible for themselves? I’m assuming it’s the latter as folk have been pointing out that the rest of the UK have done well compared to England.

The SNP covered up Covid-19 that was in Scotland during February. Wee Nippy should have taken action then and closed Scotland down. Boris Johnson will take responsibility for them extra deaths. The care home deaths have been way worse in Scotland. Boris Johnson will also take responsibility for that.

Wales have had the most deaths per person, than the rest of us. Boris Johnson will take responsibility for that, though.

The obvious difficulty is that they won't know whether it's safe or not until they are in situ...

Boris's incomprehensible dribble directive is likely to mean commuters will be trying to travel on a skeleton train service making social distancing on those trains near impossible ... but as long as they stay alert ... <doh>

Care home deaths in the UK, wherever they occur, come down to shortages of available PPE, unacceptable delays in testing residents and carers and the failure to move the country to a complete lockdown until late March ... all of which, Boris Johnson as PM and his government are responsible for <ok>

Actually golf you can play with one other person who is not a family member as long as you practice social distancing (and your club allows twosomes). If 4 of your family members played you could have a foursome.

Also you can meet with another family member (not your household) as long as you meet outside. I think the policy behind that is to try and limit the contact time and also obviously much less chance of virus contact outside.
