No kids! We stayed at the hotel on the seafront in Alykanas, the back of the hotel was right on that canal footpath, was only a 10 min walk to Alykes if that. Was a good location the hotel, it was just a bit of a dump. Will have to try it again in warm weather like, we went on 1 of the boat trips to shipwreck beach and all that but stopped halfway there because it was too windy and turned back
you were 10 mins from Alykes and 10mins from Alykanas main street with the restaurants and bars I think we walked through that hotel car park a few times, they had a few large bins overflowing of rubbish, but that is Greece in general, it's like going back to the 70's we went to shipwreck cove and it was choppy, large waves were dragging you back out to sea when trying to get back to the beach. the beach itself is like white crunched up shells, definitely need foot ware when walking on here, long day on a boat would I do it again, probably not
Think reverse holiday is the perfect term for my plans. Got a flight booked back to UK on 18th May for 3 weeks. Could well be spending most of it locked in the house depending on what Boris announces on Sunday. Mrs has told me she would like the deck replaced with a patio. She has also informed that if Lockdown is eased at the weekend but I have to self-isolate for 14days as mooted, she will be staying with one of her mates as she is not prepared to stay at home for another 2 weeks.
I’ve had to postpone my fooking wedding, a 3 week honeymoon in Mexico......and to top it off I was due to finish building my house but I can’t get any ****er to supply finishing materials!! At least I have the Saudis to look forward to
That’s rough. Really rough. Genuinely sorry to hear that. No one will supply the materials to finish the house. You must be gutted.
you know what will happen if you don't get it finished the big bad mother in law will be around to sort you out please log in to view this image
Was supposed to be in Spain this week. France with friends in June for a few days (both cancelled) Thinking about Crete in Sept, but not booked, so see how it pans out

You have to show your original medical ID card when you board and it has to match the name on your passport. Its also dangerous to say you are a doctor If you are not when boarding a plane, in case someone gets ill during flight. Best in flight announcement I heard was “Is there a mechanic on board?” just as we were taxiing to take off.
