You should probably understand how it actually works before shouting your ****e laden gob off.

What the FA has reportedly said, is that they won’t sanction a PL decision that doesn’t include an outcome that includes relegation. This doesn’t mean the PL has to agree or vote for an outcome that the FA would approve. The PL makes its own decisions, the FA merely has to ratify them.

The FA’s input was obvs to try and force the dissenters to vote for neutral venues, and it’ll probably succeed in that.
What would then happen should a virus outbreak curtail that happening, is quite another thing.

 

So we can call results based on 29 games but not the previous 38?

Ah, so to be clear, in your learned opinion, the FA have a sanction over the Prem, but they can't use that sanction unless the Prem decides to let them? You're so right - I just don't understand how that works (or, for that matter, if the FA do).

No, for the simple reason we've had 29 league games since then to make a better judgement from, or so UEFA and the FA would appear to think. Then again, the bastards didn't consult you first, did they?

The FA have to approve PL rules, they have no say over the running of the PL. so them saying they wouldn’t sanction an outcome with no relegation is their call, doesn’t mean the PL have to put forward a solution that includes it, as the PL operates via club consensus. So a potential impasse could ensue should the games not be played out and they’re left with the PPG outcome as the only way of defining it.
