    It’s a bit daft if Boris to announce whet he did on a Sunday evening . He should have waited until today and done it as early in the day as poss to give everyone a bit of notice during business hours surely ?

    That’s my point though . Surely if Boris had waited until today , nothing would have changed and it would have given employers etc at least a few hours to contact people and say , stay at home for now until we get pope 2m in place ?

    sorry , to announce it on a Sunday evening. Seems stupid to me .

    But I’m lucky enough not to have to go back to an enclosed work environment on public transport, with no ppe, no guidance and no childcare.

    Under Section 44 of the Employment Rights Act. You have the legally protected right to walk away from unsafe work.

    If I was being pressured to go back to work I would tell my employer to kindly **** right off until it’s safe to do so.
