Only a quarter of the entire working population has been furloughed.

So there’s around 6.5m people sat around doing **** all. Should they all rock up to work today?

As far as I can see it's only really been relaxed in the allowing of unlimited exercise. Nothing else has massively changed.

My point was that you're saying about the issues for you returning to work when the advice is still for you not to do so.

I can also do my job more effectively when based at work, but I am able to to work from home and therefore I should and will.

Yeah, don’t go via St Pancras mate. No plans are currently in place to ensure social distancing is maintained in the event of increased passenger numbers. The message from all rail operators as of last night remains “only travel if you are a key worker, or if your journey is absolutely essential”.

Not if you work in a pub/non essential shop but if you work in something like construction then yes you should.

So all employers will have made provision for PPE, social distancing and will have created a new set of risk assessments by this morning then? When you’re saying they should expect their entire workforce rocking up......

I'd imagine how well social distancing measures are practiced will vary from company to company or location to location much the same as shops have been.

My pal has been told to not come in until tomorrow for the exact reasons of risk assessments and the working out of minimum numbers required per job. I agree that not all will be as vigilant as that though.

Weds is when you can go play sport with your Gran, as long as she doesn’t bring your Grandad too, as that’d be too many. But if she invites you round for a piece of Battenberg after that’s forbidden.

So what you’re saying is......people shouldn’t just rock up to work today then...

I’ve no idea how they could have the benefit of actually recording that jumbled pile of ****, and then actually went with what they put out.

Nah he clearly said members of your household.

Mixing of households is the only thing I didn't really see mentioned in the proposed timescale.

Think that one is households. So you can play basketball with your flatmate.

Surely you have enough staff for a 5-a-side anyway.

Have businesses not actually been planning to return to work then? Given the media has been pecking for an exit plan for that last month or so? Or does it come as a complete shock that it might be an idea that people are going back at some point? We've had sub contractors discussing this for weeks.

There seems to be a determination to be confused because the press decided four days before that actual announcement that it would be confusing. As did Piers Morgan, for example. He said it was confusing, so it must be so.

Regards PPE, if people need that to work safely then surely they fall into the don't go back category?

I agree that the slogan itself is woolly and if that's all anyone reads, then it's not clear.

But really, it's not just about reading a slogan, the whole 'plan' needs to be digested. Johnson wasn't going to sit there and run through every single business in the country and tell them individually what each one has to do.
They've again, rightly or wrongly, given people and businesses their own responsibility of doing what they state in the whole message.

There are some bits need clarifying (more detail today, apparently?) but it wasn't that baffling, surely? It's as you were with some relaxation. Not a lot of the press speculation bollocks that was meant to be in there was. People have been looking to get back to work, this opens up the option do that. If you can't though, don't.

There should have been some alignment with the devolved countries though. What Johnson has said to people in being able to travel for exercise contradicts Wales and Scotland. You'll probably get people in Bristol thinking it's ok to nip to the Brecon Beacons for the day when that isn't what is supposed to be happening.

Would agree that some elements will need to be absolutely spelled out to certain demographics but I was expecting something bordeline Swahili they way it was built up.

Bozo dials in a recorded message best described as garbled mess, whilst hiding behind the sofa at his bird’s gaff. He doesn’t show up in public to take questions from the press until 24 hours later (no freezers to hide in at Westminster).

Somehow people are still refusing to see that, where we should be getting leadership, we’re getting a third rate Churchill tribute act? I despair.

You remaining Boris fanboys do yourselves no credit trying to defend this clown. Seriously.
