The terrace was excellent and the noise in the Frank Adams was as good as its been in a long time. I was shocked at the attendance figure given the atmosphere today.

the atmosphere today was stunning, and i think it proved that, when the frank adams got singing, it can be the loudest part of the ground (acoustics much better than the terrece) bit disappointed by the attendence, my reckoning is there was only 3,500 wycombe fans which is simply not good enough for a game like this!

Perhaps they thought the same as me and didn't want to watch a beating? Their loss!
Good luck for Tuesday night against another decent L1 team full of goals. At least you are at home and can go in to the game with some confidence that you can take 3 points from top of the table sides <ok>

one of the best atmospheres i have experienced in a very long time at a home game, which shows how loud we can really be. an atmophere like that reguarly and a lot of fans will be coming out of the woodwork

Sorry Jose but I dont think the atmosphere has anything to do with fans staying away. Lets not kid ourselves hey....

devon, i admit its not the pure reason, but it is certainly a contributing factor. for me, and im sure many others, football matchs are made more enjoyable by a good atmosphere

Yeh atmosphere can do no harm and if I was a neutral then more would be better. I sit in the Frank Adams and it does seem to be dwindling in support, some of the regular faces are disappearing. Must say the atmosphere was quality on Saturday and can't wait for Tuesday as I always love night games :)

To be honest mate, the atmosphere has always been hit and miss at AP. I dont ever remember a time when the atmosphere in one game dictated our gate for the next. I kind of understand your point - fans who have a positive experience at AP (Wycombe winning, lots of singing etc) are more likely to come back but there is only one, stand out reason why fans are staying away ( I know about 10 of them!) and that is because of the ridiculous prices and ticketing policy. Add that to the current financial climate and people simply cannot be bothered. Football prices became a rip off long ago but most had cash in their pockets then.

We are surely one of the cheapest clubs in L1 to watch, cost me £16 to stand behind the goal on Saturday, still too much though. I think your right about fans staying if the atmosphere was regularly good, I went to my first match in 02/03 season when the crowds were good and noisy and I was hooked, I had no other connection with the club I was just attending Uni in Wycombe and thought I'd watch a match, but I enjoyed the games so much I've kept on returning to AP.

i wouldnt say we are one of the cheapest to watch, around the midpoint mark. i noticed this online recently, well worth a look at for those wondering about our prices compared to all others
