Not sure what all the fuss is about tbh... rather than going out once a day you can exercise more often. You can even do some sunbathing as long as you social distance. People were doing this anyway and we couldn’t stop them so this just allows what’s already happening. Not really any difference...

And the work thing is literally nothing new. Those who can’t work from home could already go to work, this is just a nudge from the government to try and get more people working so the economic damage isn’t as bad.

I don’t see that there is much of a change at all - so what is there to be getting pissy about?

I would like that too of course but just wondering what has changed in terms of the risk compared to the day the lockdown was announced?

A few commented about a month ago that the real decision making will happen when people/economy really start to feel the financial struggles by about June. It appears that's what's happening. Trouble is we could be back at square one and closing everything down again if this goes horribly wrong.

My question is IF the schools open in June and I’m guessing nurseries before (if people have to return to work), how the **** do you get young children to socially distance?

Just put them in custom built individual cages ... which is what I was advocating for children before all this **** anyways so I don't see why it still isn't a good idea now

Well the risk is never going to completely go away until either there's a vaccine or the majority have had it, and you can't keep everyone locked down for a year.

Nothing has hugely changed anyway really. The idea of the lockdown was to stop hospitals getting overwhelmed and it has largely worked in that respect.

It’s a strategy, we can’t hide from the virus until there’s a vaccine, it needs managed.

We had enough ventilators, the RRAGE!!! On here when we turned our back on the EU was incandescent... now it’s mixed messages, then it’ll be moaning cos we have to pay back a few quid extra for our troubles... the moaning never stops bro.

I’m not an aberdude by any stretch but I stopped reading newspapers ages ago and now I live a better life, I don’t fear people, I don’t fear Armageddon because of Brexit... if I can get my own canister sorted again I’ll be buzzin <ok>

Yep. Everyone wants the lockdown to be over, for controls to be eased. Just dont see what's changed in the UK in terms of the risk.
