This restart plan definitely doesn't have "potential healthcare disaster just for the sake of money" written all over it

I don’t see how they can insure the players against contracting COVID and the potential long term respiratory issues the virus can bring, in the current environment.

Maybe the plan is to put some daylight between the UK and the chasing pack at the top of the Euro table for Covid-19 related deaths. The fact that we are at the top tells me that now is not the time for easing restrictions on contact sports.

I read somewhere that one of the big issues was club medical staff wanting clarity around liability. Whole thing's a mess.

In other news, I thought I'd have a look at RAWK and it's nice that they've decided that Brighton are making it up.

Shocked to hear that they’re shouting cOnSpiRaCeEee without a shred of evidence, as the news of a player falling ill, doesn’t suit their agenda.

I read an article on long term health issues too, but I now can’t find it. Closer to home, my neighbour came home from hospital last week after spending 18 days on a ventilator. His wife told us that he now has to go through a number of hospital appointments to understand the long term affects. These include a mild form of brain damage through being on a ventilator, along with the inevitable respiratory problems. To say the people who end up needing hospital care just get better is not the case.
But as long as Liverpool get the title...

You said something about someone getting ill, the "as long as Liverpool get the title" is odd to me?

All we did was smash the league mate.

Covid isn't a Liverpool player bru. Next it's Liverpool killed millions or some other utter rubbish, go at astro if need be but don't hint that it's the fault of lfc. The virus, the league resuming ect. Out of our hands bro.

Following on from a Tobes post I pointed out (perhaps not well) that it would be dangerous to restart the league, which Astro either doesn’t understand or care, as long as the team he supports get to claim the title.

Whether you like it or not, on this forum at least, he has made it about Liverpool!

I was watching a news item on this a couple of days ago with a few people in exactly the same position after being on a ventilator with coronavirus. The thing they all also need is ongoing physiotherapy. In some cases to help them walk again.

If ppl know anyone needing physio on the NHS they know how long it takes before you get seen. So I would hope one of the areas they spend some NHS money on is increasing number of physios and speed of treatment.

Course he cares, why would he show it though, astro gets nuff **** on here by pretty much all of yas, you all painted him and lfc as not giving a **** as long as we get the title from the start.

Hes playing up to the box you've all put him in, it's clear to see for me.

I dont give a **** about anyone else but Liverpool, really don't. Doesn't mean I'm happy for people to die for it. But as I said it's not ours or Astro's decision to resume.

If you think he genuinely has no heart and is happy to ser many deaths, Cmon lol

Astro's slapped you all silly everyday on here for weeks. Badman wummery tbh
