The logical follow on from 'Super Sunday,' considering the only match on is Mackems v Norwich...

Despite this, I assume a lot of people will be watching the match, whether because; at least it's some football, you hope to see our 'nearest and dearest' lose, or you have a considerable sum of money to be earned depending on the result.

here's some fun facts from the beeb to whet the appetite (sunderland's make for some interesting reading):

    Head-to-head

    • The last five league meetings between these clubs have ended 1-0 in favour of the home side (Norwich have won twice, and Sunderland three times).
    • However, Steve Bruce's Sunderland were 4-1 victors in their last visit to Carrow Road, in a League Cup second-round tie in August 2009.
    • Norwich won home and away against Sunderland in their last top-flight season together, in 1990/91.

    Norwich

    • The Canaries are looking for back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time since April 2005 when they beat Newcastle and Charlton at Carrow Road.
    • Paul Lambert's side have conceded a penalty in each of their first five league games this season - equalling the Premier League record set by Wimbledon in August 1999.
    • All five of Norwich's goals this season have come from different scorers.
    • John Ruddy and Andrew Crofts could both make their 50th league appearances for Norwich.

    Sunderland

    • Sunderland's 4-0 victory over Stoke last weekend ended their four-match winless start to the season.
    • The Black Cats have failed to win in their last 13 Premier League matches on a Monday since a 2-1 home victory against Leicester City in April 2002. They have never won in all 11 Premier League away matches on a Monday, according to Infostrada.
    • They have been given an unrivalled 15 red cards in the Premier League since 2009/10.
    • Nicklas Bendtner has failed to score in his 14 Premier League appearances in 2011.
    • Lee Cattermole's next league appearance will be his 50th for Sunderland.

I predicted a 1-1 draw for this one, (I know the score) but I'm rooting for Chappaz, he's got a lot riding on it!

Think most on here will be after a draw.

The Mackems have had to cut the yellow sleeves off of the keeper top <laugh>
