Why does Fergie play the pantomime villain?

    His comments that television has too much power over the english game is bizarre. I can't think of a premiership team that benefits more from television (sky money/coverage) than United. So with that in mind anybody care to translate what he really means.

    I sort of agree but its weird for him to say that given how much money they get. Maybe he wants a tv deal like the one in Spain?

    actually, all teams benefit equally from tv coverage in terms of money, although they probably get more fans from being on more often. it is about the schedule he is complaining. re the comment "you can play on wednesday in europe and then saturday at lunchtime because of the media"

  4. Fergie is Fergie. Everything his way and no one stands in his way. Something or someone may have irritated him. How the man has become a knight, not to mention his other awards makes one wonder why the honours system hasn't been revised.
