exactly all aleggris team has said is that it's just a rumour and who's owner right now ? they didn't say he's not interested
I heard they approached a managing director and Sporting director a fortnight ago and have spoken to 2 managers this week, as well as people for ambassadorial roles.
Thinking what it’s going to be like when football returns to st James Park. New owners. Direction. Ambition. The noise when that ball is first kicked could spark an earthquake.
I agree .. I think there's a player in there and he's been getting the **** like loads of players down the years have had for the same kind of reason. I think he might come good.
Rafa said Joelinton was never a £40 million player and wouldn't sanction the move. Surely that's a good indicator.
There is a player in there. But he just has to much to do. If he’s in a team that creates chances for him then he can be forgiven missing a few.
I think he probably needs someone to take the pressure off. If theres someone to occupy the defenders if only by reputation then that may give Joelinton that little extra space so he doesn't have to rush so much
We can be the worst enemies of the players sometimes. Rafa didn't want Joelinton because he didn't suit his style of football - I.e long ball up to a target man. Unfortunately that's what he has been asked to do this year and he doesn't suit it. When he has been given some license to play out wide in an attacking formation, he's looked good. I'd like to see what he can do with ASM and Almiron if there's creativity behind and we have more of the ball. He might never be worth 40 million but he may surprise people. Got to back him until them. He's a passionate guy and he tries hard.
