Churchill had a good record at recognising future problems and wanting to deal with them. Even during WW2 he advocated for continuing to push through Greece and fighting through Yugoslavia, this was to cut a huge area of Western control across the balkans and disrupt Stalins plans. He knew what Stalin wanted. US vetoed it.

It’s so much better for work life balance. Plus the better weather and endless beaches. Gonna give it a couple of years until the in laws retire and then look at whether to move out there, that way they can visit for long periods of time if they want.
