Yes, we have horses greeny but Amanda is the professional amongst us. She will be taking a couple of our stallions with her. Only 10 mins away from us
As a little break I have dug up a few songs from Amanda. Feel free to ignore https://www.facebook.com/Frequency-Music-Band-1642532736009008
I have just been watching you tube & Wycombe 1995-1996 season when John Gregory came in, what is really intresting is some of the teams we played York, Stockport & Wrexham we even ended up having three players sent off against Preston, & no Greeny it was'nt for time wasting either.
Cheers Woopert. Did you see the ones with her (then) band Frequency, on the FB link. Click on videos and there are 5 songs, including Rolling in the Deep, Simply the Best, bla bla?
Very melodius Guy . Pity we don't have anything to look forward to at the weekend, apart from helping Amanda move into her (unfinished) new home today and then clearing out and cleaning up her her currently rented house all weekend. And it's sunny and warm; We have a small area in our courtyard with some plants and part lawn, which I cut with hand shears. Just lately I've been cutting it in the morning and by the evening I can cut it again. I was hoping I could sit outside today and watch it grow
OK Woopert. Could you give some scores out of 10 for the 5 songs with Frequency 1 to 10 where 5 is OK and 1 is crap. Best listened to with headphones
Sorry Woopert. crossed in the post lol. I think I like that one best too. I thought the guitar solo in Long Train Running was pretty good. They had a very clean sound but unfortunately they took too long to learn new songs and were very nervous when it came to booking gigs. Shame really. But she was approached by a drummer to start up a trio and after several auditions found a good guitarist. One practice session and a gig already booked and bloody Corona crops up. It will be interesting to see if that goes anywhere, especially with her business taking up so much time. i miss going to her concerts
Another full day helping Amanda to move. Shattered. Another day at it tomorrow and it's all done, thank goodness
The last 2 days glorious sunshine and bbq and today feckin windy and cold . Oh well I'm staying indoors and playing music ,dug out a lot of my old record collection and have definitely decided the youngsters of today really have missed the best generation for listening to quality music. Onwards and upwards keep safe everyone ....think it's time for a rum or 2
Another tiring day today but today was looking after my grandsons while everyone else did the work: Nice sunny day, got knackered playing football . Tomorrow's weather is expected to be not too good. If it's not too windy may well end up playing table tennis outside. I used to be able to beat my grandson but now he has to give me 12 start to have any chance. Anyway, Amanda has now completely moved in; but hasn't got a kitchen installed, nor the CH, nor the replacement windows and doors. At least they have a sitting room and their beds and bathrooms and they are happy to have their own home. Should look great when it's finished. Oh to be young again
