    Some Thai fishcakes?

Easy and tasty, if done right. (don't burn btw)

Nailed it. I’ve done those before at Christmas.

So salmon stuffed with cream cheese and a few prawns and salad, main is chicken stuffed with haggis wrapped in Parma ham, serving with boulongere potatoes. Dessert is rhubarb crumble.

Ginge you have any thoughts on a sauce to go with the main. I did a whisky cream sauce the last time I did it. Though she will moan because of the cream.

Swap the haggis for buffalo mozzarella and do a ratatouille with a hint of chilli and you won’t need a sauce :)

I hate ratatouille. It’s up there with liver that. Bad childhood memories of mother’s cooking.

    Sticking with the haggis.

In that case I think you’re going to struggle with a sauce that goes with the haggis, given she doesn’t like cream.

    Looks ****e but I bet it's edible.

Juts had two packets of maggi noodles, one chicken and one curry, with a tin of tuna thrown in.

    Proper work meal.

Sounds like you're doing a Chicken Balmoral mate, personally I'd go for the classic peppercorn sauce, although that does have cream in it also.

I will eat liver. Spanish tapas liver is outstanding. Thinly sliced and pan fried in garlic served slightly pink.

Tasty. The mushroom in particular. Freshly ground salt and pepper and olive oil. In the microwave for a minute. Delicious.
