You have to assume that astro is intentionally interpreting everything in the most obtuse manner to wum the thread, there's simply no other good explanation. No rational person could really think that McDonalds delivering food to houses whilst using PPE and social distancing within their restaurants is comparable to football teams playing. The two activities are "not in the same ballpark".

As for the proposed changes, the idea that shorter halves, more subs, and other changes to the game midway through a season are anything other than money-grubbing is deluded. They quite clearly damage the integrity of the league, surely everyone can see that - they may as well literally suggest moving the goalposts.

Either it's a wum or he's so far down the rabbit-hole he can no longer see daylight - either way I'm not interested in prodding him so I'll leave this thread alone I reckon. Given the number of responses he's received I'll pat him on the back for some good wumming and hope that's what it is.
