Fewer than if we stopped McDonalds from opening again instead.

Apparently 32,000+ deaths in the UK are acceptable.

Why should broadcasters pay for games that aren't being played? That's like saying you should still be paying Nandos for the the chicken you aren't eating there.

We need to find ways of living safely given that the virus will likely have effects for years.

You can say scrap all football for years since it's non-essential entertainment. But any argument based on scrapping this season and getting back to normal next season is complete fantasy thinking.

I said " Maybe someone should have a word with the Broadcasters to help out ?" .

Again , I apologise . Maybe I should have said " Perhaps someone might have a word to the broadcasters asking them to re-think their financial model during this difficult time ? "

McDonalds are only opening limited sites and for delivery only, which they could have done throughout anyway had they chosen to. So it’s a piss poor comparison.

You can’t say that definitively though. We don’t know what will happen in terms of treatments, a vaccine or antibody testing over the next 4 months and beyond. It’s doubtful we’ll be seeing packed stadiums for a long while yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t plan for next season and take a view on whether that can include any spectators nearer the time.

Oh please, you can’t seriously be claiming a partly manned kitchen has equivalence with a 22 man high contact sport?

McDonalds have 120,000 UK staff. I reckon by the time football behind closed doors starts more than half of them will be back to work.

This is the problem . F1 talk is of Private flights for each team , Team Buses , No Inter team Contact . If a team member gets it , presumably that team cannot compete .

What if the Toilet seat in a room gets affected . There are just so many bloody variable , it makes NO SENSE to me for anyone to do anything for a while . How long ? How longs a piece of string .

How many stores , how many working at anyone time given the comments from Tobes earlier( as in a SMALL percentage of staff working in one place at one time ) ?

You said McDonalds employs 120,000 UK staff . How many are in the " Front line " .

If you want to go down that road your comment is even worse !!!
