I think Archers made a good point yesterday about how food used to be boring, so obviously Vesta were the early days of change. I liked the crispy noodles, but a pain as you had to deep fry them. Obviously that was many years ago, I'd dread to think what i'd think of the meal now, best left alone with the memories!

No I don't remember them, but that's probably because I generally use to avoid the food at a football ground. I'd find somewhere else to eat beforehand. I remember there use to be something like a Cafe or Wimpy on the corner of Gillingham Hight St as a lad, opposite the station, I've no idea if it's still there now. Plus a chippy in what is known as Livingstone Circus not far from the ground. Generally these days, I would buy a burger at the boozer I sometimes drink in.

    After they chuck up before?

You could always make him chuck up the dogshit burgers in a can into a frying pan, add some tinned Tom's and make him eat it the next day.

I've generally been quite good at avoiding cheap processed food. I'm even fussy about the water content in food, although you obviously have to pay more for it, so i'm conscious some people don't have a choice. Although if you really are stuck and it's a choice between getting something down your neck or hitting the deck, then needs must. I tend to try avoid putting myself in that situation.

Beef Stifado with tagliatelle and croquet potatoes tonight ... strange bed mates but surprisingly fine eating ... we are doing quite well on fridge and freezer management ... our needless waste numbers are practically zero <cheers>

it has mostly been that tbf.

Dunno if @Spurlock is going to emerge all spiritually uplifted at the end of this, but up to now he’s been spitting and snarling like an alley cat on blob.
