Having worked in Local Government if you can actually get to the point you're included on a list of tendering contractors you will have spent massively to just achieve that. I was always amused when lists of approved contractors were issued and one of my friends who worked in the council's solicitors office would take great delight in revealing how many of these companies shared directors. 'A corporate cartel' was his description and I doubt much has changed. Other companies that miss out on 'biggies' just don't complain, they're part of the game and the whole of the problem...

 

Dishonesty......another word for corruption. I and many others believe the government is being dishonest as per its behaviour.....like, as pointed out, you and I believe the EU are corrupt (not breaking any law but being dishonest per its behaviour)
Is that explanation enough for you Ellers ?

Sooper we know stuff like that happens, jobs for mates/recommendations/peerages... It happens under every government.
This thing with the contracts is nothing new. It would be going to someone so why not them? They did well with both Vote Leave and the election campaign.
This story is only because of Cummings upsetting the lefties and Guardian.
The use of the word 'Corrupt' is wrong.

Lying to the 'house' and the country was wrong and cost countless lives on all sides. But that is for another debate. I am sticking to your comment of 'corruption' which is a ridiculous word to use. If it goes on like this it will be high treason by the end of the day! Show me the proof that corruption has taken place?

 

You just need to answer the question rather than using others to help your cause.

You make a very good point Wills....but it wouldn’t fit his agenda.
I believe both the Conservative government and the EU to be corrupt.
As I believe the Labour government under Blair was.
In fact most, if not all governments will be at some time corrupt

Did I not always say he 'had a problem with jews" or "his Jewish problem"? In that case, I was correct and I remember wording my sentences carefully.

However, you are going off debate because you know you are talking rubbish by using the word 'corruption'. The government hasn't broken any law here so it's best not to accuse them?

 

Prove he has a problem with the Jews, he has stated, and with justification, he has issues with Israel, not Jews, what about the retraction of the corrupt EU?
