Lol. Ok. 2 months for the premier league tests to be done. But again I don’t mind as long as it goes through and we see the last of the fat one.

As to any other clever peeps not mentioning names I hope your confidence in the takeover is realised because your going to look silly if it doesn’t go through! Again I hope it does and I’m happy to be proved wrong.

    Who cares how we look.

Its all about using the evidence at hand, we can see the moves have been made to purchase the club and that we are set to be sold.

If the premier league scupper the deal I mean - what can I do? I saw a sale being done, politics got in the way. Our enthusiam and trust resides within the takeover bid being done properly and it is being done properly. I don't think anyone looks silly just because the Premier League might block it, again, what can I do? Why should I be negative?

I don't see a reason to blatantly ignore the positive evidence, let a bunch of numpties who have a vested interest in this failing get you paranoid and constantly cover your bases by putting down the deal.

The other fans will think you're a prick anyway! Either you support a club owned by an evil regime with too much money to spend like City or you're laughed at for getting hyped about a deal before it was done. Like, who cares what other fans think? Not me.

I can happily admit I think the deal will go through and I will continue to act accordingly. I dont hide my beliefs for anyone, if the PL decide no, oh well. Thats what they decided, subject is dropped and I continue with my life. I think the people who are constantly denying its validity and think its bang on going to fail just lack confidence and need to show a bit of spirit. **** it, enjoy the speculation and have a laugh.

Is it done yet? Any further forward. Gonna spend some time seeing if the people in the know (Journos) have re-arranged words they have already wrote to see if they know nothing else. Lol

is it **** mate.. personally if it's not done this week I'm ready to accept it's failed.

2-4 weeks is a company policy... a target and regardless of the excuses the goal is to get an answer in that time frame... 4 weeks being for the maximum.

I’m on the fence. Initially I was woohoo. Then I went nah. Now I’m on the fence and just want a resolution. There’s positive and negative in the news but no one really has any idea what is happening if anything. As usual we, the fans, are left in the dark. But I guess that’s just how it is.

Fifteen working days (three weeks) under normal PL rules prior to appointment as director a club. That is how long the fit and proper persons test takes.... Premier League Handbook s.F4.

Piracy is governed by F1. Refers to Copyright Design and Patents Act 1988, s. 297. An offence if committed within the UK.

Disqualification is based in F1. Primarily Company and Insolvency law, but includes offences for dishonesty, sexual offences and the Company Directors Disqualification Act. Allegations are not enough. There has to have been a conviction in either a UK Court or a competent overseas Court.

A list of proposed directors is sent to the PL together with declarations and the relevant paperwork. Proposed directors cannot be appointed if they fail the test. Staveley was appointed as director of JV1 on 5th April 2020. It was not filed with Companies House until 14th. RB Sports Media and Cantervale were both appointed as persons of significant control of JV1 on 8th April. The day before the legal charge and one week before the Companies House documents were filed.

Vincent Cheshire was appointed director of NCUK on 9th April. His appointment was filed at Companies House on 15th April - the same day as Staveley and RB taking a controlling interest in JV1. Bander Mogren was appointed director on 9th APRIL - Same day as Vincent Cheshire. Mogren being the CEO of PIF. That appointment was finally filed at Companies House on 28th April 2020. Some 19 days after 9th April.

The date of the legal charge, confirming payment of a deposit by Amanda Staveley to St James Holding is 9th April.

If the test commenced around 9th April fifteen working days under normal circumstances would be 24th April. The fact Mogren appointment was not confirmed until 28th is interesting. He appears to have been subject to considerable scrutiny as CEO of PIF. Nevertheless he became director of NCUK.

All directors are in place and appear to have satisfied PL checks.

Apologies for the length, but this one is done. The hold up is likely not the PL.....

There's so much heat on the premier league to stop it and it appears most people believe whatever angle they want to accept emotionally. The reality is nobody knows and if it fails nobody will ever know why or hear anything conclusive. I'm still confident, but I'm not going to rule out it being failed by the premier league because I don't know the facts only opinions.

The check might be done. It might have passed or failed.

My additional thoughts are that maybe PIF are in fact holding back because of the uncertainty of the premier league. A decision was expected about when it would resume but this has not happened. They might even be working out the negative financial impact of having no bums on seats next season.

No he is saying that PL approval has been given. There is now another hold up.

I suspect that it will be the #canscampaign. Think the Saudi's are thinking twice about buying a club where the fans appear to have an unhealthy interest in alcohol.

Suggest we need to try and appease them by having public floggings of @Albert's Chip Shop , @cronemeister and @jimileysbaldhead in front of Fenwicks. It will be a chance for ACS to get his arse out again.

It could the transfer of funds. Something as simple as that. International bank transfer can take up to five working days. If Mogren passed 28th April, five UK working days from then takes us to...... 5th May 2020.
