It's encouraging how many people here are taking it seriously. I dare not look at the RTG thread for this but I'd say that football fans are pretty representative of how the country feels, so if our priority is still stopping deaths and getting this thing smothered, and we recognise that our actions play the biggest role in that, we're good.

The day that a sizable proportion of RTG-ers start slavering about FREEDOM and GETTING A HAIRCUT is the day that we're just as ****ed as the Americans.

Mate, there is lad on Rtg saying he would lift most restrictions now, then in 2 weeks open up pubs and everything as it might only kill 0.4%.

Such a blasé attitude to potentially 260,000 deaths

I would like to think he didn't mean it at all, but agree completely that he would chs he his tune if someone he knew contracted it and was really poorly or worse

That's the trouble when looking at numbers. But every single one of those numbers is somebodies mam, dad, son, daughter, etc. They are all people with families and friends. One unnecessary death caused by lifting these restrictions on our liberties too soon is one too many.

It's been unclear from the start. I didn't know if I was just vulnerable or extremely vulnerable.

Then I got a text and letter saying I was extremely vulnerable but Crohn's and Colitis put out guidance saying that people on Azathioprine are vulnerable and can go out.

My IBD nurse and my GP both said I was extremely vulnerable and to ignore Crohn's and Colitis.

I've read the government paper as to how shielding categories are decided and based on my meds and dose, I could fit into both categories depending on which way you read it.

So I'm still not 100% sure if I'm just vulnerable or extremely vulnerable.

It's very humbling to read this Becs.

My life has been total chaos and I've taken endless chances but never had anything more than broken bones.

It doesn't seem fair that a ne'er do well, such as I, should escape unscathed yet someone as nice as you should have these problems.

It's like teenage girls popping out endless unwanted babies while desperate loving couples are left without.

Every day these restrictions are causing further future suffering for people who have not already lived their lives. Millions worldwide have lost their livelihoods. Every acceptance of further sanctions on liberty is less freedom for future generations.

If you are vulnerable from this version of coronavirus, you were already vulnerable, ie you are have underlying issues and are likely over 65.

None of this is being done to protect you, the people who run the world dont care about the health of the poor and weak. The latest puppet national government have just overseen the ATOS operation, directly targetting the poor and weak by stopping their benefits and forcing them to go through appeal processes which often took years. Tens of thousands of the most vulnerable, from cancer patients to mentally ill, were forced to suffer for the sake of money, leading to thousands of suicides, and you are to believe the people behind that now care about the health and well being of those same vulnerable people.

You would need to be buttoned up the back.

This is about herding people into a "new normal", furthering the global agenda, and the global media network is being used to convince us to go along with it.

Imho, the decision has been made the economy is more important than more covid 19 deaths, we are just being softened up to accept this, or at least being conned to accept it.

Eg, open plan offices were always about saving money, reducing social distancing to one metre is the same...

As for tube travel, I did that for 20 odd years the idea that you can keep a safe distance is a joke....barbers, hairdressers next?

I enjoy my friday, lads night out it is a small crowded pub... 2 metres it's a joke!

It's definitely confusing. I got the letter to say that I was extremely vulnerable and needed to shelter. Then I got the text giving me the link the register which I tried to do - but the questions you have to answer include a tick box of how you're vulnerable (cancer etc.) And I don't fit any of the criteria. So I don't even know if I'm extremely vulnerable and if I am, I don't know why.

    Bit of bad luck tbh.

Same thing happens with terrorist attacks, earthquakes, tsunamis, plane crashes, etc.

It's all part of life and we just have to grit our teeth and crack on.

Still reckon the government were slow on their reaction for the lock down though

The champions league game Liverpool V Madrid should've been called off parts of Spain were already in lock down

    Cheltenham shouldn't have gan ahead
