At least he is not doing what Sir Fergie did and sent boots flying in the dreesing room or as a certain Mr Magilton done and allegedly head butted someone. How does that old saying go 'sticks and stones can break bones but names nether hurt me'.
I was surprised at the public dressing down, thank god we equalised or Christ knows what would have been said! Funny thing was, when I saw him have a word with traore it looked more like "never mind, that refs a clueless ****". All in all, I can't recall the last time he had a big rant like that after a game. Dalgleish did it the other day as well, most managers do. They are marking cards for the next big decision.
It was hardly a rant was it? In fact he said he better not talk about the referee, whereas Colin ****er spoke directly about the referee. No class.
Much prefer managers who tell it like it is ala Warnock,Holloway and Cloughie.Got no time for those gutless yes men like Wenger,McClaren and Pardew!!
My money is on Warnock knowing exactly what he was doing. He didn't rip Taarabt to shreds last season because he knew he couldn't take it, clearly he thinks that Traore will come back stronger and more determined from this. As for the ref, quite frankly he deserved it. It will be interesting to see if the FA fine Warnock or if the ref is in League 1 next weekend.
There was no bile and spite in what he said, watch the interview again! He said it calmly, in the same fashion he had a quiet word with Armand immediately after he came off (watch that too). I've seen videos of his half time team talks, and in one he absolutely hammered his side for basic errors(with some colourful language), then segued into a very motivational message about going out there and showing what you can do.. Neil is no mug, he wont hold a grudge against Traore, and the public message will have been very different from the private one!
I tend to agree with rolercoaster warnock must know traore is able to deal with the comments. If not its a very poor showing by him the lad was frustrated and lunged in for the second booking don't see that as worse than some of the antics he seemed to except and even embrace at times as part of adel's game last season
Lucas is a ****, the sooner his team is back in the championship the better. I know some believe in inner beauty, but Lucas oozes ugliness 150%.
Traore does not understand english that well does he he probably thought NW was congratulating him on the tackle.
Both were criticising the ref, in preparation for the next time. I feel a bit sorry for Dalgleish, last time he was manager Liverpool were top dogs and got the decisions naturally ( molby golden boot winner with 30 pens) now he has to shout and holler with the rest of us hoi polloi for decisions while they all go the way of the Big Three.
