Australia not even 100 deaths and they’re being as loud as anybody about China. This reminds me when you said folk doubting the Chinese death figures were xenophobic and then China added 50% to their death count a few days later

 

... but with 98 deaths in one New York care home I suspect the numbers of Americans seeing through the Emperor's new clothes right through to the fake tan is growing rapidly... blame it on China fine, but he is going to get judged on their response and handling ... and his claims of sarcasm to cover incompetence are convincing only his most staunch supporters

 

Well I'm not sure anyone in our position could be really knowing the truths of the figures banded by any country including our own.

Many are dying in this country that are being classed as a covid death yet no postmortem.

A work colleague has just experienced this first hand his father died at 82 years of age... They would only release the body if he signed a document that said he died of covid.... I wouldn't have done that myself because I would want to know the real reason behind his death but Mike being Mike didn't want to wait three weeks plus for a postmortem to be carried and signed a form confirming covid as cause of death body released and is now buried six feet under...... Never to be exhumed

and to add to that can i in these times of complete & utter praise for the NHS
add Mid Staffs , Gosport War Memorial , Numerous Maternity care scandals , Tainted blood scandal ,Shocking mistreatment of learning disabled / mentally ill patients etc all of which have 2 common traits
a) The NHS tried to cover them up.
b) Nothing seems to change.

It doesn't make sense to me either but it does add room for a manipulation of figures..... Why they would want to do that is anyone's guess but the fact is its happening

 

It makes no sense to me either. For someone that is sceptical about everything aberdude, did you not think to ask what this document was that your work colleague signed?

Also I very much doubt that a relative would have a say, regarding a postmortem, I'd have thought you would just have to wait until a decision is made. Sounds by the way you are explaining it, that a criminal offence has taken place, and the body would need to be exhumed, to carry out tests, that were not completed before the body was buried.

 

Cause of death is the responsibility of the Doctor who certifies the deceased. Unless there’s any potential suspicious circumstances and then the responsibility moves to the coroner. The idea that there’d even be a consideration of an autopsy on a bloke in his 80’s with suspected COVID is ridiculous. What’s obvs happened here is that the relative has been asked to sign the death certification as what they call the informant. This is part of the process of certifying a death.

A criminal offence is taking place and family members not getting the correct information based on the cause of death during this so called pandemic.

Now I'm not sure if you have ever been involved in death of a family member but I have and you do have to sign the death certificate along with the registrar ... A postmortem is coming place but not at the moment....... Family members kept away from bed sides is another worry I got, most seem to be saying goodbye from the ambulance and that's the last they see of them which again is not normal....... OK maybe times ain't normal at present but surely a relative shouldn't be left with questions.

As to speaking in depth about documentation with Mike...... He is a straight laced guy who is totally different from me and my views and at present with it being fresh I'm not disrespectful enough to question the loss of his dad but I will once I think the time is right..... He just told me what happened and I've said no more than my condolences.

Are there any other stories like Mike's maybe not but my gut feeling is that there will be many in the same situation.

That's just my opinion and until more comes out in time I'll stand by my thinking of there's more to this that meets the eye.
