Took my daughter into see this yesterday and what a good laugh we both had. They even had a kilted Scotch person that said "numpty" and "diddy". Great entertainment for all the family.

Anyway I was speaking with one of my esteemed scientist colleagues and he assured me that Smurfs do actually exist.

Now I'm no expert on Smurfology so who was I to disagree with him?

Never, ever doubt that experts could actually be wrong.

    I'm a little teapot.

Why were you taking your 38 year old daughter to see the Smurfs movie?

The smurfs is a kids film - just shows mentally challenged you are.

    My daughter is 7.

Are you saying I should have just let her make her own way into town and watch it by herself??

If you become a parent (heaven forbid) you will be another McCann case then won't you.

    How ******ed are you sonny?

What a pile of ****e this movie was, my daughter was bored within 10 minutes. She likes the cartoon but the movie was bad bad bad, Hank Azaria does do a good Gargomel though.

Has Doogie Howser MD ever been in a decent film?.....Starship Troopers homoerotic mind reader excepted of course!

You said it was 'great entertainment for all the family'.

...says a lot about the ER family.

Answer the question please. Should I have let her made her way into town by herself? To me that SUMS you up. Do you have children?

Nothing wrong with suspending one's belief now and then.

Maybe you should try it sometime.
