Yes they do, you ****ing moron. Do you think they float around the oceans? Or do you fly a submarine in Diegoworld? Seriously, let's stick with this as you're making yet another twat of yourself - what adjective to you give to the mode of transport of a submarine going from, say, Faslane to Newark for refitting? Does it walk across the water? Does it backstroke?

Haha!! We're champions whether the season is played out or not: desperation is hanging on to null and void because it's 'fairer'. Your utter dejection crawls from every word you mis-type. <cool>

Oh **** off. The QE2 cruises. Dayglo cruises Canal St. A submarine sails. You can use the word cruise, but there's totally no need to as a submarine sails, and always has done.

You could just admit you forgot the word cruise.

Or you could just admit that dayglo was 100% wrong when he said a submarine does not sail. It does.

Maybe, but left sometimes behind a long, long time ago - somewhere in between the 200 miles that separate Faslane and Lossiemoth in all frankness.

Btw, 12 to 24 months a medical professor has just said on SkySports. So, if totally honest and fair Uncle Joe is right, we can't play football again until we can get back to were we were in February, because fans might congregate at their home grounds. I wonder if he and the other null-and-voiders on here might just adjust their certainties a fraction or two before then? After all, he's a damn fair unbiased man, is Joe... :emoticon-0138-think

When we have to book a fork truck engineer into glaxco at trafford park we have to book them in at Brentford, quite close to 200 miles away <laugh>

Doesn't happen in the old world though eh

"The etymology of 'cruise' links to 'crossing' and 'chasing', so 'sail' seems the most apposite choice for normal, non-allegorical usage. That said, it could be a deliberate use of 'cruising' to imply hostile intent."

You didn't read it, did you? Haven't laughed this much since someone quoted the Brighton chairman to back up their argument for null and void, and I found the full quote on the Telegraph were he said the complete opposite. :emoticon-0100-smile

****ing hell, well that, er, clinches the argument. You can't argue with a guy who books forklift trucks when it comes to nuclear submarines and the correct verb for there mode of transport. Dayglo Nautilus is it is then. Das Butt. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

cruise' seems more often to be used as an adjective or a noun, rather than a verb.

Well, the adjective I'd give is cruise. I'd first start by reading your own post bru.
