That's simply not true though, is it? We've now had three people from my workplace officially diagnosed as Covid 19 positive. Nobody has even remotely suggested that we all (180 of us) self-isolate unless we develop symptoms. Indeed, the NHS would have ****ing collapsed had those been the rules.

 

Not worried at all. Really funny watching the trolls (some on here) creaming themselves when La Ligue was cancelled - until PSG were awarded the title. Now they're bending over backwards and sideways in futile bitterness as to why that would be more unsafe that null and void. And now we have the most tenuous answer that it would be because Liverpool fans might celebrate..

As for finishing the season - not unless it's safe. But that means next season doesn't start until it's safe too: Uncle Joe has given the reason - you can't play football behind closed doors at neutral venues in case fans congregate somewhere and celebrate. So no football until it is safe to do that. Unless, of course, you think there just might be a hint of hysterical ABL in Anderson's judgement.

So explain then how it's safe to start next season under the current restrictions when Anderson has said it's not safe to do so now in case fans congregate and celebrate? Surely it just isn't? And 'literally everyone' is saying we should be awarded the title? Er, no they're not. As said, even on here posters and commentators were spunking at the thought of the Belgian, Dutch and French league cancellations - until the French, in particular, crowned PSG champions. And the best argument now (even on the sports pages of the major papers) is a begrudging 'It's only with an asterisk' (great, I LOVE our asterisk) or Liverpool fans are hell bent on murdering more innocents just to finish the season off (under the same conditions some want to start off next season as soon as possible).

But you're right, there is something rotten to the core in wanting to claim a first Prem title when you're 25 points clear with nine games left, and our only mathematical rival has only won half of their last six league games. Evil ****ers, putting the league trophy above nurses, old people, Tiny Tim and Shirley Temple. Especially when null and void could have been used to vaccinate the vulnerable and would have also created a tear in the space time continuum when we could have gone back and saved every Covid victim so far. Though that couldn't happen with the French solution, obviously, or PPG.

Nope - neutral venues and behind closed doors for at least a year, according to most advice now. So, let's ask the question again - if we can't finish the season now because fans may congregate at home stadiums to celebrate, how can we play next season under the same conditions? Uncle Joe has spoken, and he only cares about innocent fluffy kittens, or some other bogus ****e like you've spouted for over a month.
