    It's more of a paella type pan than wok. Not really flat bottomed though, which is why the eggs had to be on the side.

    Presentation was ****, was more concerned about keeping the egg away from the beans to keep PJ happy.

    The other three plates were far less of a mess!

    I find the sweetness and vinegaryness of the boak sauce contrasts well with the saltyness of the bacon.
    Brown sauce wouldn't give that much sought after contrast.

    Fully agree, I eat bacon on its own often and it's best with red sauce. For the reason you said.
