739 official government figures at their press conference. Almost double that of the Daily Heil. Coincidentally aren't the Daily Heil the newspaper who are pressing for easing of the "lockdown"? Agenda perhaps?

Looking at the daily charts we are presented with from no 10. Yes it seems the lockdown has had an effect....but has it had a really big effect?

Yes, at first before the "lockdown"" the number of people who had the virus were on average infecting 3 other people. Now the number of people who have the virus are on on average infecting 0.7 other people. In other words there would be 3 x more infected people without the measures and by extrapolation probably 3x 27,000 deaths= 81,000 dead. So probably 54,000 lives saved. I would say that is a price worth paying for the inconvenience it has caused.

The problem is that some people don't believe they can either be infected or be a carrier ...

... they're known in medical terms as 'thick'.

Yes, because the R number is now below 1. If you all come out of lockdown too quickly which is what the mainstream media seem to be calling for the R number will start to climb above 1, not a good thing to happen.

exactly , if people have to die I wish it would be the people I see going into each other’s houses - kill each other off if you like - trouble is , I also resent them the nhs attention as they demand the care of the doctors and nurses after demonstrating that they show no care for them

    I keep saying ,
    Lockdown is temporary
    Death is permanent
    It’s that simple
But if some are too thick, and some too arrogant to consider that and take it on board , I am truly at a loss for what we can do

What pissed me off was all the idiots on Westminster Bridge clapping away with Police...

Like how can you say stay in then all go and do that?

No wonder the idiots go outside after seeing it.

If people turned the tv on and heard ''you are advised and requested to stay in because it has not yet been possible to remove the heavily armed gunman who has been randomly shooting people dead in your town recently'' would they go out ?

That's a very good point mate.

The death toll is absolutely enormous and we currently have to protection or cure.

Not only that, the only certainty is that human contact, and nothing but, can transmit the virus.

Just like the shotgun welding maniac we can't actually fight the virus, all that we can do is hide behind the settee and hope that it doesn't get us.

I wish people would understand that taking away contact can eradicate it quicker than waiting for a vaccine . The virus only has two things in its mind . 1 propagate it’s own species 2 kill our species . It knows that while in one host it will die if the host builds antibodies and survives , but will still die if it kills the host . It has to ensure therefore that it has some “ babies” and it can get those babies to a new home , or preferably to split the family and send them to several homes . The babies cannot travel alone . Cure the MITS. Municipal Idiots Transport System
