Just read this on the Guardian site.

Five things we learned from the Premier League this weekend

Quite good; for once to see some credit coming in for Newcastle from the national press. Especially on the Guardian (considering Louise Taylor's bias against us - which admittedly has curbed recently as well as Mackem idoliser, Barry Glendenning) who I personally respect for their football coverage.

Nice to see us in the press for something other than managerial oustings, half-naked owners and tweeting twats.

Good to read. Finally something that echos the sentiments of every fan I've spoken to.

I don't want credit, I want us to keep going along quietly...

    This.

I read on a Blackburn forum earlier that their fans would only have 2 of our side ahead of anyone in theirs.

It's this kind of ignorance that will lead to us being underestimated this season and long may it continue.

<laugh>! This needs to be seen. Sounds like they're as deluded as Steve 'the game could have gone either way' Kean.

That's funny, I would only take Samba, Hoillet and possibly Yakubu off BR

I thought Steve Keane's comment about Bests challenge on Dann was funny, yes the challenge could have been deemed a but robust. But he's sharp to forget the offside goal Yakubu scored for them against Arsenal <laugh>

Won't be to upset if the go down, especially with comments like "would only have 2 of our side ahead of anyone in theirs."

    WTF is this clown on:

"I have to disagree on the Newcastle being a good team and a loss was foreseeable point pal. I believe Newcastle are that token **** side who start the season well. They have about 4 players I would welcome here and that's it."

Sore losers or what, token **** team that has only let in 3 goals so far this season <doh>

He's constantly whinging about every decision to make up for his managerial mishaps. Out of his depth and if he stays in charge much longer Blackburn's season will be proper ****ed.

And lol at that picture of Kean as the Moon with Bruce below; the stuff of nightmares.
