The English language is a thing of the past! Abbreviated slang terms commonly used on Internet Forums and Social Networking websites have ravaged the language to the brink of extinction e.g. I was in the bar the other night and I heard someone telling a really bad joke. However, what was worse, the response consisted of those three horrible letters ----> LOL. I honestly can't believe that a grown man would actually use an abbreviation to replace actual words to describe his reaction to the joke or laughter! For your amusement (or not), the joke was as follows... "I hate my new job as a butcher... but someone has to bring home the bacon!" lol lmfao rofl fml wtf wmc What is the world coming to?
