I can't see the chart on the Twitter feed but I think the last figure that I saw for deaths in local trusts was 81 so that would tend to sit nearer the lower figures when expressed in terms of deaths per 100,000
One interesting stat I heard last week (on the BBCs excellent More or Less programme) referred to the death rate amongst front line workers - age adjusted figures showed the rate amongst NHS staff to be within the same range as the general population but transport workers (London bus drivers specifically) had a death rate which was around twice the norm.

Given they pretty much just sell burgers and chips, I'd say a 'limited' menu is the norm for them.

They provide work for thousands in particular for those without or minimal qualifications, their training is of such a good level many workers are able to get better jobs both within and outside of the company. The food they sell is largely sourced in the UK. There are many worse places and employers.

Model business is MacDonalds. The support they give to franchisees is fantastic.
My Grandson is being paid by them at the moment, he is 16 and only does two shifts per week.

MacDonalds may be good at many things, but making good food isn't one of them.

Why have people got a problem with McDonalds re-opening? They're breaking no rules and nobody's being forced to order from them.

Gotta say well done on reaching what even earlier this week seemed a distant number of tests , mentioned yodel specifically for digging them out of a hole I saw ... will say well done to public and private companies / workers for pulling together to achieve this

To ~70k people... so were ~50k people tested twice?

    (I’m not having a go - just wondering how/why).

122k tested, but about 80% of the results are unknown. Therefore a little misleading....still it's a start.

There's no excuse really, given the amount of time they must have had on their hands.

The lesson for the rest of us is to make sure we revise properly so we don't have to resit the exam too. <ok>
