First, who are these hypothetical objective fans you're talking about? Second, what do you mean by "prioritise going back" - what do you think it's supposedly being prioritised over? Third, are you proposing football's return should be a democratic vote rather than based on expert advice? Do we also get to vote when other businesses are allowed to start talking to each other about potential plans for the future?

Bit harsh. Astro makes some good points and was correct to post the work the Premiership clubs do (which i knew about but I guess from the nature of my comments was a fair reposte) and also to point out that there are other sectors which are similarly culpable for acting in manners contrary to the way society is looking t the moment.

However, it is difficult to take a moralising stance from any people who have a clear vested interest in the decisions here. As a Newcastle fan I'm pretty neutral, if anything not playing out the season is likely to be a negative to us (as i can envisage teams going up but not down) but it's not going to effect my thoughts that on a purely medical and sensible level we should not be sending people back to play football matches.

McDonalds say they're reopening on 13 May

Detached from reality or fair enough?

    1) You and your emotive language mate, I assume it's intentional? If they were hypothetical then I wouldn't have referenced them. Just off the top of my head people who aren't interested in football generally and also people like me (Newcastle), Libby (Southampton), fans of lower league clubs (there's threads on the Sunderland board - they are a club who would very much benefit from finishing the season and yet they are of the view it should just be called off). I honestly can't think of a poster who thinks going back is a sensible idea whose team doesn't have a benefit from it - please correct this.

    2) There were a host of options discussed at the beginning of the thread as to how the season could be finished. If you can't be bothered to read differing opinions after 101 pages I doubt I'm going to persuade you now.

    3) How did you deduce that? Where do you get you views from? [please insert my next opinion here by random allocation as you seem to do that anyway irrespective of what people actually write]. I'm saying that you as a Liverpool fan want one outcome because you are hugely biased. Other fans of rival clubs want other outcomes because they are hugely biased (and clearly winding you up), As regards whose opinions I would personally listen to most on an internet forum it would be neither of those groups. Of course the Premiership should listen to experts, no-where have i said anything suggesting they shouldn't.

"When will McDonald's begin to reopen stores?

On Wednesday, May 13, 2020 - McDonald's will reopen 15 of their restaurants in the UK - bosses have stressed that this will be in a limited capacity with delivery only.

Restaurants who deliver only have been exempt from day one mate, do keep up. They will all wear masks, stay apart and only offer limited services.

It's comparable to football if the players all stay away from each other and things like corners are banned.

Although I don't retract anything I've said do feel free to take me with a pinch of salt @astro as I'm bored as f*ck and if i don't rant a bit on here I'm going to punch one of my kids. You're currently performing a vital service.

Do staff have to grapple each other with physical contact a must? Does there a need to be an ambulance and paramedics based at every restaurant?

    Not really comparable is it.

I don't eat at McDonalds, so it has no impact on my life. I believe if you work there though, you get little stars if you're an exceptional employee, you know the sort of thing i mean *

The asterisk just means we smashed the league 25pts ahead with 9 to play. Obviously anyone saying anything different is bitter and hates Liverpool fc. I geddit I'd be the same, null and void if utd were in our position. Of course, but I'd still know deep down they obliterated all before them.

All good for me, do the same as France if need be.

So who we angry at the pl? Liverpool fc or just astro?
