Rangers received no prize money. So the prize money they didn't recieve didn't go to the liquidators when they went into admin. Even if they did recieve prize money although they didn't it would have went to the administrator not the liquidators.

Umm.

BDO were the liquidators and they allowed the entitlement to be used for football debts. Sevco existence was the clue to Rangers end.

The Spl couldn't just use the money as you think they could. They needed Rangers and BDO permission.

Now we go to the present where Sevco asked, not for an advance on Prize Money but a loan based on Prize Money on that date.

It would then be determined by clubs if they would pay back the loan with the prize money that they are 100% entitled to receive even if the loan is outstanding.

Now having received the loan and it still resulting in admin for Sevco, prize money is still entitled to be paid but administrators would decide who is repaid by this cash and unsecured loans, which the resolution asks for, would not be top of the list.

Therefore Sevco would receive a loan of 2.4m then their entitlement of 2.4m without any guarantee the original loan would be repaid.

If they asked for an advance it would be different.
