Being a spastic.

Starts off with bevvying to 1am with Julie, woke up this morning rough but been rougher.

It's about 11km to my work from my house and Glasgow is full of hills so you can imagine there's a lot of cardio work and cardio + too much bevvy = blowing out yer arse.

I'm about 2 mins from my work, I'm fked, I'm daydreaming and I had to go up a wee curb, as I tried to do that, I pressed the front break and went flying over the handle bars.

Naturally, your first reaction is to bounce onto your feet and make sure no **** is around laughing at you, thankfully, there wasn't anyone I could see so thank God for small mercies but tomorrows excursions will be subject to a late fitness test.

Pish to be honest. Can't furlough myself and as I take an £11k salary and rest made up of dividends then getting paid fk all.

Trying to do quotes but a lot of suppliers and subbies shut so difficult to get prices back.

All sites closed so all guys furloughed which I had to fund for 5 weeks before we got the money in on Monday/Tuesday.

Still waiting on the Covid grant but been told officially that we are getting this next week.

Applied for the Covid loan and got knocked back but been told we'll be eligible for the bounce back loan which goes live next week.

As for work, we picked up 3 jobs just before lockdown but expecting 1 or 2 of them being shelved as one's a gym and one's a restaurant and if there is going to be multiple lockdowns and social distancing for a while then folk aren't going to be spending money on that sort of stuff.

You still working or you been furloughed?

What would have happened if somebody started work the day before lockdown, would you still need to pay them and they would still get money from the Government?

 

Aldo that article says Rangers were entitled to the payments and agreed to waive them through BDO to pay debts.

I was a little off, from memory, but it still supports my argument that entitlements cannot be withheld.

Can't remember the actual date but there is a specific cut off date to be eligible for the furlough scheme.

I think if you started just before the announcement then you'd be onto plums.
