Doesn't particularly help that you get certain Saudi Arabian social media accounts constantly sayings its close.
What has likely not helped is all this correspondence sent to the PL by third parties. As complaints have been received they are obliged to respond. That will delay finalisation.
Surely the blokes at the PL enjoy cans like the rest of us, why not tell all the whining bastards to f@ck off.
Wish they would. Its a piss take. It's like any business with a complaints process I guess. Action on accounts is frozen or reduced until complaints are answered.
The PL fit and proper persons test is an internal 'audit' carried out by the PL. It doesn't include submissions from 3rd parties or any need to respond to letters submitted by them. I suspect any delays are more likely due to the fact that the PL has far greater issues to deal with now, involving dealing with plans to complete this season, or otherwise. Am completely laid back about this - in all honesty it could wait till the end of the season, to reduce uncertainty in the playing and managerial staff when we might need them united to ensure we escape relegation, and also to wind up Chaos a bit more.
The seasons already ended, they just need to grow a pair. Liverpool should be Champions, PPG calculated for the rest of the standings. City aren't in Europe so its Leicester, Chelsea and Man U in the other 3 CL spots, and congrats to Sheff U who get into Europa League ahead of Wolves. Smallest of commiserations to Villa and Norwich who are replaced by Leeds & West Brom. We finish a pretty poor 13th given the money spent, another reason to send Bruce packing. Done. We're in this CV19 issue far deeper than the ridiculously well-drilled Germans. The problem is the PL have always been fairly useless. Worse than the FA in many ways, hence why this "test" is dragging on and on. Nothing will happen today or at any point of the weekend. It actually strikes me as stupid, because they're allowing representatives from NUFC in meetings who aren't going to be there when it restarts, so it should be something of a priority to get the takeover sorted and approved.
Very true. Plus, the Covid19 restrictions will mean that PL staff are working from home. That in itself will slow things down further.
If this doesn't happen today all of my takeover isolation cans are gonna turn into getting ****ed out of sheer frustrations cans and I'm gonna have to buy a **** load more in. Oh well.
I've given up on Twitter. ****ing useless platform - just a breeding ground for morons with their incessant bullshit and attention seeking.
The fact that penfold is attending this prem meeting is also a concern for me. It’s like one last throw of the dice for him to **** things up.
If I wanted to watch one idiot tearing a new one for an even bigger idiot I’d video the wife having a go at me when she gets home from work.
Bro. In what world would a buyout cease because the now previous owner was causing a ruckus? Do you think he's going to spill champagne on Abramovic and it gets called off?
No it’s the very fact that he’s representing our club when either he’s not even going to be there any more or he is as the takeover is not happening. Either way it’s a **** shack of a situation.
I think the football season should be ended... Liverpool should play Leeds behind closed doors at Old Trafford to see who cries the most.
