If the season is called with current standings, we've won it mathematically. If ppg is used, we've won it mathematically. If the rest of the season doesn't exist because of extreme circumstances -meaning the games are cancelled - then the maths calculation is over.
@Zanjinho Nah, once you have the bike there’s a whole other world of bling kit and accessories to fall into which can be a bottomless pit of money through stuff you actually need and want, and gear lust. Then there’s the inevitable next stage of looking at upgrading your current bike or looking at getting a nicer frame with more sparkly bits attached to it ... enjoy!
A steady 10.5mile today. Slight drizzle but not too bad. Took the 12yr old on a short skip (0.3mile ) along the road for the first time, one step at a time to get him road safe.
The other day on the A5 I saw a bloke riding a bike on the road and in front of him was, I assume, his son aged about 3 wobbling all over the place as HGV's whizzed past.
Sadly, nothing surprises me any more. The most powerful man in the world advocating injection of Cilit Bang
Yeah, nothing I see on the road, as a driver or cyclist, really has the capacity to shock or surprise me anymore. It's a mix of clueless morons and reckless don't cares, with the good drivers and cyclists lost somewhere in the middle and seemingly in the minority. As a cyclist who's had a fairly bad rtc with a motorist I just make sure to remain alert and protect myself as much as possible. Prior to my crash I thought I was pretty alert and safe but it just goes to show there are always things you can't plan or anticipate so it's mega important to keep on top of that stuff and always things you can be doing better or differently. One thing I have noticed with the very quiet roads is that more motorists are giving cyclists correct amounts of space when they pass, this is clearly because the opposite lane isn't full of traffic and now quite useable for moving out. Of course there are still those who want to see just how many mms up to you they can get before they touch the handlebars or a wheel
I had to keep talking to my lad, telling him to keep pedalling and stay steady / close to the side. No way I'd take my 10yr old on the road yet, never mind my 6yr old. Taking a 3yr old is crazy When I was about 19, I threw my bike at someone for cutting me up on a roundabout Not a modern day lightweight bike either.

What did Fat Joe say to make LFC issue this statement. "As a club, we are aware of and disappointed by comments attributed to Mayor Joe Anderson in a media interview which was published today. As well as a lack of evidence to support such claims, we would also point to recent discussions with Mayor Anderson relating to the possibility of any behind-closed-doors football, which concluded that it is important that key stakeholders across the city continue to engage and work collaboratively. In recent weeks, we have engaged with supporters’ groups who have informed us of their determination to respect social distancing measures and, in the event of a resumption of football being announced, we would continue to work with them and other key stakeholders in keeping with our collective desire to achieve this crucial objective. As part of our ongoing operations, we are in regular contact with the Mayor and his office and we hope these conversations can continue. In the meantime, our primary focus remains responding to the humanitarian crisis which continues to unfold and in particular providing ongoing support to various NHS initiatives and those experiencing food poverty and social isolation."
